Both these websites have interactive activities where you can practice your French & the websites will tell you whether your answer is correct or not:

Using an online translator can sometimes be useful but there are a few things you should keep in mind:
- Don't put in an entire sentence or paragraph! The order of words does not translate the same from English to French. If you have a writing assignment, please use the phrases & the outline you are given in class instead.
- When entering a word, put "a" or "the" before it depending on the context (this will show you if the word is masculine or feminine & most of the time, you need the preposition in front of the word).
- Words often have more than one meaning so one way to check is to click on the French word that has just been translated & Google will give you different possibilities. The best way to know for sure if it is correct is to verify with a dictionary.
- You can listen to the translated word by clicking the speaker icon on the right hand side of the screen.
